The half day beginners workshop will give you all the practical knowledge you need to unravel the mystery of your DSLR camera. Held at Kirra Hill Community Centre, this is a hands-on lesson that takes you through some basic instruction first, then out to explore the stunning southern beaches to capture their natural beauty.
Learn not to be frightened by those buttons on your camera; how to freeze action with fast shutter speeds and throw distracting backgrounds out of focus by setting apertures. Discover how to improve your photos by taking creative control of their composition.
There is time allowed for students to ask any questions they like - all questions answered!
By the end of this workshop, you'll have the knowledge you need to turn an average photo into an absolutely striking image.
